DC Electronics expands with USA sales and production facility offering Variohm sensors off the shelf

Towcester – UK – February 2012: Following continued success in the UK and its expanding customer base in the USA, DC Electronics – Motorsports Specialist Ltd (DCE) has opened a sales and production facility in Mooresville, North Carolina. The recent winner for Export Achievement at the coveted 2012 MIA Awards opened the USA facility to mirror its UK operation; offering design and build for custom engineered systems as well service off the shelf delivery across a wide range of electrical and hardware components. As an important part of its sales programme, DCE Inc. will stock and supply sensors for linear and rotary position, pressure and temperature from the leading motorsport sensor and transducer specialist Variohm EuroSensor.
DCE is one of the motorsport industry’s leading providers of electrical systems with a product range that include wiring looms, ECUs and data acquisition hardware, lightweight batteries and electronic power assisted steering (EPAS) systems. DCE's in-house design teams in the UK and USA provide a complete technical design and build service to customer requirements, based on careful analysis of individual needs.
Variohm EuroSensor has worked closely with DC Electronics' UK operation over several years as a performance partner for sensors; supplying sensing solutions for worldwide championships including, NASCAR, Formula 1, Le Mans Endurance Series, World Rally, Superbike and F1 Powerboats. Variohm's motorsport sensor range includes pressure and temperature sensor solutions for fuel, oil, coolant and brakes as well as force, torque and position measurement sensors for suspension travel, throttle and gearbox. Also available are accelerometers and gyro sensors for dynamic testing applications, Hall-effect sensors for wheel speed monitoring, and laser and infrared technologies for ride height and tyre condition.
