Basingstoke, January 2010: MiniTec UK Ltd will exhibit a selection of its Profile System and Linear System machine framing and modular positioning components - complete machine base and structural framing solutions for OEMs, machine builders and system integrators.
MiniTec will highlight its new CC-Assembler software that allows machine builders and designers to conceptualise, plan and cost their MiniTec Profile System and Linear System machine designs. The free of charge software works in both standalone mode, requiring no CAD platform or CAD expertise, or may be used in combination with most standard CAD systems. Over fifty 2D and 3D output formats for AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ProEngineer are available as well as IGES, STEP4 and many others.
MiniTec’s Profile System includes a wide range of modular aluminium profiles plus ancillary components that together provide the building blocks for safety and guarding systems, workbenches, conveyor and parts handling machinery, automated manufacturing and test equipment, special fixtures and display consoles, multi-axis linear systems and even complex production plant. With its innovative and patented Powerlock® fastener this framing system allows rapid assembly and unlike competitive brands requires no pre-machining or pre-drilling - just a turn of an Allen Key is all that is required for fast, straightforward and neat frame construction. MiniTec’s Linear System includes ball-bushings, slide units and torque bearings plus precision ground shafts and shaft supports. These components are often specified with the Profile System machine framing range to allow complete machine building solutions that can be specified, designed and built from one source.
